Marriage among relatives can give rise to defective offspring

Marriages among relatives should be discouraged. Genetic studies confirm such marriages could result in offspring with limited thinking ability and suffering from physical disability.

If a married couple are related, especially first cousins, this could genetically affect the offspring.

Firstly, the children would possibly have limited thinking ability. Secondly, they may turn out to be OKU (physically disabled person).
