H1N1: Tunku Azizah, kids in stable condition

KUANTAN: Tengku Puan Pahang and her five children, who are down with influenza A (H1N1), are in stable condition and are now recuperating at Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital.

Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah was admitted to the royal ward on Saturday after she showed symptoms of H1N1. Her children, aged from seven to 14, were hospitalised a day earlier for the same reason.
Her children are Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah, 14; Tengku Muhammad Iskandar Ri'ayatuddin Shah, 12; twins Tengku Ahmad Ismail Mu'adzam Shah and Tengku Puteri Afzan Aminah Hafidzatullah, nine, and Tengku Puteri Jihan Khalsom 'Athiyatullah, seven.
Tunku Azizah told reporters here by phone that all her children's health had improved, except for Tengku Muhammad."We have been given anti-viral medication but Tengku Muhammad's condition is worrying," she said, adding that the doctor who treated her family was also infected.
